How to extend system partition with Extend Partition Wizard?

Extend Partition Wizard is a useful utility, which is able to extend your system boot partition and other partitions. It can fully use the free space and unallocated space on the disk to meet your needs. The program automatically shrinks large partitions and moves them to release more space to increase the capacity for the given partition. It's easy and safe without loss of data, without formatting partition and without restarting computer.

In this article, I'll introduce how to extend system partition with "Extend Partition Wizard".

Step1: Launch Partition Assistant and click "Wizard" > "Extend Partition Wizard".

Step2: In the pop-up window, choose the first option "Extend system partition".

Step3: In the next window, you'll see the welcome message, here you have two choices.

• Just click Next
• Tick "Automatical Mode for extending a partition" at lower left quarter and click Next

The difference between these two choices is that by first choice, you need to select data partition manually (one or more) to shrink and extend the system partition.

By the second choice, the "Extend Partition Wizard" will shrink all your data partitions automaically and extend the system partition.

After click Next, a window will pop up, select one or more data partition to shrink. Drag the scroll bar rightwards to extend the system partition by shrinking the partitions you selected automatically. Preview the partition changes, and click Proceed or Back to change again.	Choose the automaical mode and click Next, in the next window, just drag the scroll bar rightwards to extend the system partition by shrinking all data partitions automatically. Preview the partition changes, and click Proceed or Back to change again.
