How to resize partition with Aomei Partition Assistant without data loss?

By resizing feature, you can shrink, extend, move partition. Generally, resizing feature is used to extend the system, so in this page, I'll introduce how to extend system partition by resizing partitions. Step by step instructions to resize partition with Partition Assistant.

Step1: Launch Partition Assistant, right-click a data partition and selec "Resize".

Step2: In the pop-up window, put the mouse pointer at the left borderline of the partition, when it changes to be bidirectional, drag rightwards to shrink this partition. (If you drag the right borderline leftwards, you need to move partition.)

You'll find some Unallocated space created behind the system partition.

Step3: Right-click the system partition and select "Resize" again, in the pop-up window, drag the right borderline rightwards to extend this partition.

After that, you'll find the system partition is extended.
