How to resize partition with AOMEI Partition Assistant

To resize partitions, there should be other partitions that has unused space in the same disk. If there is no free space in all data partitions, you need to copy this disk to another larger one and then resize the partitions.

Step1: Launch AOMEI Partition Assistant, right-click the data partition E: and select “Resize Partition”.

Step2: In the pop-up window, put the mouse pointer at the left borderline of the partition, when it changes to be double-ended, drag rightwards to shrink this partition.

Click “OK” and back to main window, you’ll find some Unallocated space created behind the system C: drive.

Step3: Right-click the system C drive and select “Resize Partition”, in the pop-up window, drag the right borderline rightwards to hold the Unallocated space.

Click “OK” and back to main window, you’ll find that the system C has been extended.

All operations work in virtual mode, to change physical disk partitions, remember to click “Apply” button to proceed.
